If I was smart I would have started this blog 2 years ago when we were getting ready to break ground on the house. Buuut I was meeting with all the people and researching all the things… on top of mothering 4 tiny humans under the age of 4. Yeah, we’re those people.

I did document as much as I could on Instagram (you can find more here). Now that we’ve survived building a custom home during a pandemic and been able to enjoy our home for the last 7 months, the details are becoming a little foggy. That’s one reason I created this space. When we were building it would have been helpful to have a resource to learn about all the things you never knew you didn’t know. You know? But this blog isn’t going to just be Building 101 (though I will have a section dedicated to just that!). I want this to be the place you find design inspiration, tips & tricks, easy DIYs, maybe the occasional recipe, what I’m loving lately & more! I hope you stick around.
