Coffee table books are one of my favorite functional decor items. One of my favorite ways to unplug and unwind after the kids are in bed is to flip through the pages and feel inspired. I also love that you can get a coffee table book for pretty much any genre, they don’t have to be home decor related. I have photography books and even recipe or food related books. One of the most popular books guests pick up is one I found at Goodwill titled “Beers of the World”.

In addition, I also love coffee table books because they inspire me and create good conversation with guests, but they also double-duty as decor. I use them everywhere! I like to use them to elevate other decor, as a catch-all or landing space for candles, and upright or leaning on shelves.

In addition, coffee table books also make really great gifts. It’s something I think some people maybe wouldn’t buy for themself, but would enjoy getting, especially if it was specific to one of their interests or hobbies.

Coffee table books don’t have to be reserved for just the living room coffee table either. I love using cook books in the kitchen to help elevate dishes & decor too.
