This post is in partnership with Wayfair.
The kids all went back to school this week and it’s been a vibe. I’ve been decluttering and organizing and it feels so good! As I was deep cleaning I realized it was time to do a bathroom refresh to set the boys up for successful mornings as we head back to school. Obviously I went straight to Wayfair to grab everything we needed in one stop.
Before we jump into the refresh, lets talk about the bones, shall we? I’ve never shared the boys’ Jack & Jill (or Jack & Ben?) bathroom here on the blog. I sourced everything in the boy’s bathroom from Wayfair during our build. We were ballin’ on a budget by the time I designed this space. I fell in love with these affordable rustic wood vanities and modern plumbing by Moen. The oversized hex tile is super easy to clean with minimal grout lines. I’m thanking myself 3 years later for this choice, especially around the toilet area.

I opted for oversized subway tile in the shower and budget friendly, modern shower trim to continue the minimalistic look. The curved shower curtain rod makes showering a little more roomy.

This is going to sound weird, but I friggin’ love these toilets we did in 3 of the 4 bathrooms. The sleek sides make cleaning soooo easy! 12/10 recommend.
Now for the bathroom refresh part. The first thing I replaced were all their towels. The ones they had were getting old & crunchy and we were missing a few. I grabbed 2 new sets, one in dark grey and one in light grey. I love the fringe detail!

Although this space gets a ton of use, I’ve never really done anything in here, so far. It’s always had hand me down rugs & basically no decor or accessories of any sort. Not anymore! This rug was meant to be!

I love the cushy pile height and the texture and tones are so good. The plaid has a hand drawn vibe that gives nice contrast to all the super straight lines throughout the rest of the space. I also added these rope bins for more storage under their vanities.
Now that this space is organized and has more storage I’m hoping it sets the boys up for successful mornings before school. Are you in need of a bathroom refresh? I know everyone gets the urge to spring clean, but I’m more of a fall cleaner, I guess.
Check out this post for a peek at Jack’s bedroom & this one to see Ben’s.
